file in use

hey guys.

was wondering if anyone could help here?

i have a file in my downloads section when i try to remove, it always says file in use. i have nothing open at the time, so it's imposible for a programme to use it.

anyone know how to remove the file?

lol i've tried that, though the computer insists it's still in use
